Resippy fer the aubergine thingy

Arfter Sunday's post abowt the dish I cookt up fer AussieJourno, Chewy sed she wud like to know how to cook it too. So heer is the how.
Oven:
- fan oven: 165 C 25-30 minits
- ordinry lectric oven: 190c 30-35 minits
- Gas oven: Mark 5, 30-40 minits
- preheat them an yews the middol shelf, ok? (yu ownly need wun oven)
Wat Goze In It:
- 1 big aubergine;
- sum cookin oil;
- 1 medium size uniun;
- 1 225g (8oz) tin of tomatoes OR a handful of fresh wuns, whizzed or chopt up very smoll;
- sprinkle of salt an black pepper- don't add salt to the mixcher cos it'll get too salty- yews it ownly to soak the aubergine- see layter- trust me;
- 2 teaspoons of parsley or watever herbs yu fancy. Marjoram is gud, too, or basil;
- 1 200g (7oz) tin of tuna (in brine or water, but strain it off);
- about 100g (4oz) of cheddar cheez, or sum crumbly cheez, enuff to crumbol over the top, but not so much on Daddy's harlf, coz he duzzent like cheez.
How Put The Bits Together:
- Pull off the green stalky bit of the aubergine an cut in harlf lengthways.
- Carefully dig out the fleshy bit wivout cutting the skin. Best way to do this is to scor rownd the harlf of aubergine about this far from the edge: "___" -there, see? -wiv a smoll knife (get Mummy to do this bit) an then scoop out the middol wiv a spoon.
- Chop up the fleshy bit, put it on a playte and sprinkol it wiv salt. Leev this fer abowt 15 minits or longer if The Simpsons ar on. This stops the aubergine bein bitter. Wen yu come bak to it, rinse it under the cold tap and blot it dry with kitchen payper.
- Peel an chop up the uniun. Heat the oil in a big frying pan an fry the uniun in it till the uniun goze the cullor of a Small Brown Bear.
- Add the aubergine flesh, tomatoes, herbs an pepper. Simmer the mixcher fer 10 minits, stirring occasionally, or wenever yu remember "Oh! I'm cookin dinner, aren't I?!"
- Flake the tuna an add it to the mixcher, stirrin it in.
- Playce the aubergine harlfs on a bakin tray. Best to use wun wiv an inch hi wall, fer them to leen on. Then stuff the aubergines wiv the mixcher.
- Sprinkol with the cheez.
- Bake till well browned.
- Best to leev out fer 5 minits befor yu eet it, as it is very hot under the cheezy lid ;@} I like it wiv sum long green beens an a dollop of mayonaize.
