HULLO NOT-A-BEARS!
Mummy had to go to the dentist so I went wiv her to help her be brave (cos Bears do brave). This was a new dentist becos the larst wun messed up wun ov her teef. So she was verry nervous. But gess wat????!!!! The dentist has a Bear!
This Bear sits on top ov the light that the dentist yewses to shine in yor mouth. So, as Mummy lay there looking up, the Bear sat up there looking down. This made her smile, and so the dentist cud see in her mouth.
I dident manage to get the Bear's name (he had a bizzy schedule) but weer goin bak on 4th December so I will try to arsk him then. I might even arsk Mummy to get his photo for yu all.
Daddy has an appointment on 11th December wich he is trying to get out ov cos he issent as brave as me. So I told him about the Dentist's Bear wen we got home, to try to reassure him. I don't know if it werked.....
But WOW! I dident know Bears did dentistry! Yu think yu know all there is to know about yer own species an then yu lern sumthing new!

you bears are really special people, so clever...it must be so difficult to be a dentist assistant...I hate going to the dentist, and mine has no mouse to comfort me...may be you could come with me next time, and then may be we could go and have tea somewhere that would be so nice...

Oh Mousie, yu mussent be scared ov dentists. Tayke a Bear friend along wiv yu an he'll help yu to be brayve. That's wat we tell Mr Scooter the Cat, wen he goes to the V-E-T: he cries in the car on the way but we tell him, imagine you're a Bear! An that makes him brave. Or at least, it makes him act like he's brave and then, when he's been acting it fer a while, he fergets he's only acting.
Yes, I might be abol to come wiv yu next time. Grayum sed he'd like to go wiv yu. He has had lots ov experience wiv scary places as he used to be a teacher.
Tea is always a good idea but arfter you've been to the dentist? Yu might get a numb mouth an dribble it down yor dress!
Do yu hav a favrit biskit? I hope that Dark Choklit Hobnobs weren't YOR favrit too, as I fear they are no more now.
