Watchin colds

Scores since Saterday:
  • Gills: yes! We had a big big match agenst Aston Villa, hoo ar a reelly big teem an reelly up themselvs. It wud hav been a 1 goal all dror, but the cheetin scum got a penalty that they did not diserve an the ref waz a nazi.
  • Simpsons: yes- but tonite they wer beein meen to Lisa an it waz her berfday. Oh! I muss mayke a note on the calendar! Lisa's berfday! WOW!
  • Tesco: yes, fer a littol wile, but still got a ride in the trolley.
  • Nose Hugs Surprizisity Score: this is serspendid till peepol rownd heer stop bein so snotty. Yeee-ack!

HULLO NOT-A-BEARS!

It's reelly intrestin wen wun ov my parents gets a cold a few days befor the uther wun gets it. It meens that I can sit an watch the second wun go throo all the sayme stayges in the sayme order an we Bears run a book on hoo gets throo it best.

Daddy waz best bet. He eevn went bak to werk today. Mummy's bin tryin to sleep sittin up on the sofa, propt up by loads ov cushons an pillows. This is coz she gets asthma an sez that if she lies down the cold will hert her chest mor. Now, I don't get this at all. Shorly if yu stay sittin up yu get eevn mor gravity on the yukky stuff an so it gets down to yor chest mor eezily?

Enyway. She is now well into the olympic-pooing stayge ov the bug. Altho, I think she is cheetin a bit cos she haz eeten lots ov choklit an that ALLWAYS maykes her poo. I did try telling her- I sed, that 12th nite rool, it duzzent apply to all the Crismoss Choklit yu kno, yu don't hav to eet it all befor Janyery the 6th, Mummy. But she dident lissen. So it's bin like monsoon seezon for mud pies in her bottom department.

We at leest mannidged to load up the fotoes, tho, in between trots. So I hope to be abol to post sum soon!

Hope yu ar all keepin warm! It is so cold heer we woke up to snow on Munday, but not enuff to mayke a snowbear wiv.

Bye fer now!

Bob!

Thanks for the poo update (among other things) on your mama's condition. Which number on the pooch chart does hers best represent?

Give her some more healing goober smooches from us here in GooberStan. Wish we could give them to h er ourselves!

Goober love,
Stanley

I've been very lucky with not getting colds or flu.....

the last time I had one was 1995... and I remember it clearly..because I got pink eye, strep throat and bronchitis ...all at the same time. When I finally went to a doctor..he seemed stunned that I was still walking around. Anyway... I guess it still wasn't really a cold was it? I didn't feel bad except for the damn coughing... he gave me some great drugs..I continued to walk around in a dizzy haze and was fine... never did feel sick... (touching a lot of wood anywhere near me so I stay healthy).... hope "yours" are better soon... touching some wood for them too...
