HULLO NOT-A-BEARS!

Look wat the Post Bear brort me! It's a pakkidge from WSPA, the peepol hoo help Bears. That triangewlar thing is akchewly a munny box. Yor ment to put yor spare pennys in it, then send WSPA watever yu get alltogever. I've been goin rownd the howse collektin pennys for it. I went down the sides ov the sofas wiv a wooden spoon an fownd 59p. Normally Mummy sez that enything that ends up thare is hers, but I sed that today it is for the Bears!

I fownd 18p on the bedroom flor an 83p, 2 elastic bands, sum chewin gum and 3 Euros in the littol bowl ov stuff neer the fone. I'm shor the Bears wud enjoy the elastic bands as they cud mayke cattapults wiv them, but I'm not shor if they chew gum.

Chek owt WSPA's website to see how they help us Bears an uther anmols. But if yu do, pleez mayke shor thare ar no yunger cubs arownd to see, as sum ov the stuff thare mite scare them. Never mind. I am glad we ar helpin a littol bit!

Bye fer now!

Bob, you're such a helpful bear. That's a good idea to go around collecting all the loose change. I often find loose change in my girl's purse or in men's wallets. It's not AS loose there, but loose nonetheless (and therefore up for grabs)! You might want to check your daddy's wallet.

Goober love & smooches,
Stanley

Our baby brother, Phil, is with us, so we've opted not to go to the link (right now), but he askeded a question that we couldn't answer, for sure. We're hoping you could help.

Is a Beartish penny the same as an Abearican penny? Are there 100 of them to the dollar? (We thought so, until we remembered you don't have dollars - or do you?) Did Great Beartian stick with pounds, and shillings and stuff, or did you go Euro, too? We're a bit cornfused 'bout how your money works. Can you teach us? How many pennies in the next unit of money? What is the next highest unit of money? How many of them make the next one...and, ummmm, stuff like that?

We're pretty sure our money is like the Euro, except it isn't worth as much.

Curiously Yours,
Spauld, Phil, and Ted

What a great idea :-) I think you would have been less lucky finding money lying around here... But you are welcome to give it a try ;-)

Hullo Phil! Noce to meet yu!
Yes, our penny is like yors- it's 100th of our big note, but our big note is a pound. So thare ar 100 pennys in a pound. But I think a pound is werth mor than a dollar. Or it shor yewst to be! Hehee! Mite not be now!

No, we havent had shillings since abowt 1970. We just hav pounds an pence now.

We dident go into the Euro but the Republic ov Ireland did, so we hav to yewz them wen we vizit Granny Ireland an Poppa.
