He hangs out in our gardin. He's kwite frendly an puts his hed on wun side alot. Mummy cald him Newton arfter wun of her teechers at skool, Missus Newton, hoo always walkt abowt wiv her hed on wun side tellin peepol to get into singol file (to wich Mummy an her frend, Jo, sed, "Ther's ownly wun ov me!")

I've wotcht sum other robins, an they don't do this harf as much as theez do. Duz this meen they ar (a) mor intelligent (b) mor short-sited or (c) mutaytid?

I bet the birds loved those cherries! I do like your photos; I think Newton is just listening to what you say...and has told his baby to listen too...afterall they probably haven't seen or heard a talking bear before in England.

Ruth, they wolft the lot! It waz funnt to wotch the yung blakberds gettin them- they struggold a bit, then wotcht the grown-ups to lern. Thay hav a nak- they sort of strip the outer skin a bit ferst, then pek away at the soft pulp.

Mummy is goin to try to mow the lawn today if the rain holds off fer a wile, so we went out an chekt to see if ther wer lots of cherry stones arownd- don't want them flyin up an hittin her in the eye! But we ownly fownd a few. So the rest got eeten. Ther will be lots of cherry trees rownd heer.....

Bob, I think the Newtons have got water in their ears and they're tyring to get it out, that's why they have their heads on their side.

Did you find lots of cherry coloured poo in the garden after all the cherries?
