HULLO NOT-A-BEARS!

Phew! It's been bizzy rownd heer!

Ferst, the washin masheen broke down- and I got the blayme, jus fer stuffin an extra 17 pares ov pants in. (Well, pant watchin is better than daytime tv an wen it's windy owtside wat's a Bear to do?)

Next, Daddy orderd a new wun off the internet and they sed they wud tayke the old wun away an install the new wun, but ownly if we disconnektid the old wun.

SO! Friday mornin, we got up erly to do that. But we cuddent find the stopcok to tern the warter off. We had to open up the trap-dor in the street an tern it off there. Lukilly it ownly ternd off OUR warter, nowun else's. But it still ment that Mummy cuddent flush the toylet and, as I may hav menshund from time to time, she duzz poo an awful lot, so it waz a tense mornin. Daddy wassent worreed, he went off to werk, whare they hav fully funkshoning toylets. (An if Daddy is goin to yews it, that's the leest yu need it to be.)

The men arrivd by 9am an put in the new masheen an testid it. It dident werk!! So they had to tayke 2 broken wuns bak wiv them. An we havent seen them since!!! An thare is washin piling up everywhare.

I'm gettin a tad worreed that I shall soon hav no cleen pants to frolick. Agen, Daddy issent worreed, as he can ware them inside owt an get twice the distance owt ov them. Hehee.

************

Meenwile, Mummy's wide-awake arty crarfty phase seems to be comin to an end, an she haz re-enterd the sleep olympics. She has spent most ov this week asleep, wich is a shayme, as it has been hot an sunny at larst, an she is missin it. She haz been a bit down, an eevn sed wun day, wat is thare to get up for? But we convinst her that at the very leest, thare waz a cup ov tea, an she got up. I've bin givin her hed-hugs!

I went into town wiv her on the bus an I took her to the crarft shop whare I got sum new cullerin pens. That sort ov cheerd her up a bit. She likes gettin me things. Hoo can blayme her?

************

2 ov yu hav emayled me abowt yor crarfty challenge peeces, so I will put fotoes ov them up in anuther post. Thanks!

An thanks to TB for emayles, too! He haz bin lookin into playin that grayte Bear gayme, "Bear! Not-a-bear!" an watchin my instrukshonal video on it. I think I mite hav a gayme ov it meself, TB, speshly as thare ar no darnsin pants to watch goin rownd an rownd!!!

************

Sorry no fotoes today. But heer is a YouTube vid that Mummy's frend Beth sent her. Beth livs in Maine. Enyway, this is reelly cewt- a bayby moose playing wiv a sprinkler, then he goze an gets his twin bruther an his mummy, an they all hav a frolick!! It mayde Mummy smile- hope it maykes yu smile too!

************

Daddy Window-sill Bear is goin to the optishun tomorro, cos he keeps borrowin Mummy's glarsses so she sed sheel get him his own. He waz a bit offendid at ferst, an thort she ment she just dident want to share wiv him. But then we poyntid owt that hers wer akchewly 3 times the size ov his hed. Hey ho!

Bye fer now!

i love the moose video. when we were young and growing up, we had to wait for the moose to leave our front yard b4 we could go out and play! vel even got charged by one and had to jump in a car for safety!

having a cup of tea with your mum would be nice, even if she doesn't get out of bed. i've been there...i understand...please tell her we miss her and give her a hug for me, okay?

and did i tell you when megs and i were TOTALLY stressed and exhausted from getting the wedding ready, each night, we would watch 5 or so of your videos to make us laugh and relax...and some of them we had to watch more than once! so, i just wanted to thank you for helping calm our nerves in our busy stressful time!

Velvet Ginger,

Wen I think ov the werd 'bloomers' I think ov thoze big long pants wiv the frilly bit at the end. Yu kno, the old fashund type (oh the FUN Bears must hav had in the parst!) that go a bit down the leg.

WELL! I carnt help it (I carnt!), wen I think ov them, I think ov them hangin on a line wiv the end ov each leg nottid, an a blissful Bear tukt up inside each wun, swayin in the breez.

Ahhhh.....

:@D

B.T.Bear (esq.) said...

Debbie's Bears,

Ah! TB is havin gests to tea? That's allways fun. As fer "Bear! Not-a-Bear!" yes, it is best to start wiv a piktorryal vershun ferst, fer praktiss, befor moovin on to real Bears an not-a-Bears.

To go into the full pro vershun too soon is to risk not ownly rong calls but also hed-butts.

Corse, yu can also hed-butt a book, but it will not hed-butt yu bak. Like Grayum duzz.

Let me kno how they get on!

Oh nooooo not another damn washer that is a nuisance!! I know it well..BUT... finally I have figured out how to work mine and now.. ..I do love it. It was touch and go there for a bit... it nearly came to grief.. there were big wrenches and hammers lying about... things could have gotten ugly.

I've given up watching the pants goin' round now... moved on to doing some crafty things again... and playing out in the yard.

Hugs to your Mom and hope she feels right as rain soon....although how can rain be right? I only want it to rain at night...and then be sunny all day... ...

Bob! I'm glad you posted. Thanks for the comment in my blog. I am really sorry your washing machine got broken. I am having a fun sleepover visit with Scrappy. He's so fun!!! Mommy went to work today and came back so tired, she has been sleeping furever. Ahhh! I keep her company. Sorry to hear your mummy is sad. Mine gets like that too. I am always there for her. Specially, since it's just me and her (and the silly cats) that live here. I do ramble sometimes. I was just lonely with mommy sleeping. Talk to you soon!

Oh dear! a washing machine crisis! They are awful! I go into a panic when my washer is broken. We once got a Lego man stuck in the door of our front loader. We could see him, but the door wouldn't open. A man had to take the washer away to be mended, along with the washing inside! It was pretty minging by the time we got it back! We also got a lego man stuck inside the video machine - but that's another story!
I LOVE the video of the mooses. Thank goodness for baby wipes, I say! Hope mummy's washer is sorted out soon. Hugs to all xxxx

Hey Bob! Just came across this!

Take Your Pants for a Walk Day
When : July 27th
Take Your Pants for a Walk Day is a great day to get some exercise. This special day is well noted on the internet for Ecard and calendar websites. So, I'm sure your planning to celebrate this day in a big, big way.
Its an easy day to celebrate. Simply go for a walk. Unless you are wearing a dress or a skirt, you probably are wearing pants. So, by definition, as you walk, they come along.

Hi Bob! I hope your Mum gets to feeling back to her wonderful self soon. I have moments like that too. We had a washing machine thing happen about 2 years ago and we had to wait 3 weeks for the machine we wanted to arrive - it was terrible. Now, I think we are on the verge of a dryer disaster (but we are holding out as long as we can)... To keep the dryer from shutting off every 20 seconds, you have to jiggle the handle where the timer is. When I'm drying clothes I have to sit in the laundry room (usually with a book) and 3 Yorkies watching me and jiggle the handle... No fun, but dryers are expensive and not in the budget right now (bummer). Anyway - the moose video was great! Give your mum lots of nose hugs... Sometimes it helps if she watches a sad movie - then it clears out all the sad so she can be happy again! (works for me - usually "Steel Magnolias" will do the trick). Bye for now, Bob

I had to come to work and watch the video, I can't do it on my home pc. Anyway, I just love it! Like Ms.Creek said, we had moose in our yard while we were groing up, one Mamma Moosse (she is called a cow) came every winter to eat...with a new set of twin babies! (they are called calves) So your video brought back many good memories to me, thank you!!!!!

Tell mummy thank you for the moose video because it made me smile.
I could only smile, not laugh out loud, because my shoulder still hurts from my operation I had at the hospital on Monday.
